Manicurists
A manicurist is an individual authorized by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) to treat a person's nails by cutting, trimming, polishing, tinting, coloring, cleansing, manicuring, or attaching false nails, as well as to massage, cleanse, treat, or beautify a person's hands and feet.
Manicurist License Renewal
A manicurist is required to take 4 hours of continuing education, including 1 hour of material dealing with sanitation to renew their license. Our TDLR-approved course covers the following topics:
- Sanitation (1 hour)
- Skin (1 hour)
- Hair & Nails (1 hour)
- OSHA Regulations (1 hour)
Total: 4 hours of continuing education credits.
